Purpose
This trainer simulates WAG CW RUN operation with realistic callsigns, DOK exchanges, pileups, noise, QRN, QSB and optional WinKeyer output.
Quick start
- Set your callsign, DOK, speed range, noise and session duration.
- Press Enter or F1 to call CQ.
- Copy one responding callsign into CALL. The trainer never corrects your entry automatically.
- Press Enter or F2 to send the entered call, 5NN and your DOK.
- If your call was wrong but close, the station sends its correct call twice before 5NN and DOK.
- Correct CALL if necessary, copy the received DOK and press Enter to log.
- After a valid QSO the trainer sends TU [MY CALL] TEST, focuses CALL and opens the next pileup.

ESM
With Enter Sends Message enabled, Enter sends CQ when CALL is empty, sends the exchange after a call is entered, and logs plus sends the closing message after the received DOK is entered. The highlighted function key shows the next action.
Partial and incorrect calls
From two entered characters, F7 finds active callers containing the fragment or matching within two character edits. A close but incorrect full call is not overwritten. The selected station corrects you by sending its real call twice.
WinKeyer
Open WinKeyer from the header, enable it explicitly, select the baud rate and connect. Disable it to close the serial port and return to browser audio only. Web Serial normally requires Edge or Chrome on HTTPS or localhost.
DARC import
Open the DARC archive, select a result page, save it as complete HTML, then import that saved file. Imported call and DOK records remain in local browser storage.
Mobile operation
The interface adapts to touch screens. For best operation use landscape orientation, headphones and the ESM workflow.
Debug mode
Debug mode controls the operational hint panel below CALL and DOK. It is off by default for spoiler-free training. Enable it when testing the workflow or diagnosing a problem. The QSO result panel remains visible after logging.
F74 mode
When enabled, stations with DOK F74 are selected more often. The remaining callers still come from the full callsign database, so the pileup stays varied. This is a training preference, not a change to WAG scoring.
International callers
Mixed mode includes a balanced selection of generated international training calls. German stations send 5NN plus DOK. International stations send 5NN plus a random serial number from 001 to 2500 for each QSO. Enable German only calls to exclude all international callers.
DX caller share
In mixed mode, DX caller share controls the probability that each new caller is international. The default is 45%. German only calls overrides this setting and forces 100% German callers. F74 mode remains focused on German F74 stations.
Caller filters
German only calls and DX only calls are mutually exclusive. If neither is selected, the configured DX caller share is used. F74 mode remains focused on German F74 stations.
